WARM UP FOR WINTER # 2 Featuring DOOM & HOODRAT (Bang Gang DJ's) & Yacht Club DJ's Sat 5/7 TICKETS SELLING FAST
Cavaliers of club, barons of Baltimore, tramps of techno and hobos of house, Jaime Doom and Gus Da Hoodrat are two parts of Sydney party troupe The Bang Gang Deejays, and two of the finest party rocking DJ’s this or any other dimension has ever seen. Pioneers of the sound that’s come to be known as "dimensioneer dance", Hoodrat and Doom are trailblazing DJ’s completely unafraid of taking a trip into the murky waters of the sonic exploration, with complete disregard for acceptable club convention and what is commonly recognised as “good cricket”. Taking influence from current erectro-house, baile punk, minimal hechno, 90’s French horse, 80’s new wave and 70’s disco, these disc jockeys (without horses) not only pioneer new dimensions (with, or without horses), they also help the deaf 'n' disabled, the young 'n' restless, the mellow 'n' yellow and the aged 'n' agitated to discombobulate into parallel universes.
Tickets:$15 + b/f Available from New Generation, Karova Lounge & http://karovalounge.oztix.com.au www.banggang.com.au

THE RED SUN BAND & The Greasers + Sianna (Love Outside Andromeda) Thur 10/7
After a conspicuous absence from the touring scene that once defined them, theredsunband are back. Having disappeared to record the follow-up to their debut album, theredsunband are soon to return to the haunts they occupied for two solid years on the extensive travels that supported that release. Since the release of their very first singles "Pavement", "Sleep Forever" & "Devil Song", theredsunband has consistently traded on bringing their songs to an audience in the live domain. Such is their commitment, that by the end of their last national tour, they were practically living out of a 1976 Bedford Van. Now, with "Like An Arrow" & "The Eagle" gracing the airwaves, theredsunband are back to do what they love best, celebrating their re-emergence with their first headline tour in over two years.

SNOWMAN & Baseball Sat 12/7
Some bands lead, and some bands follow.Snowman are one of the special acts who just go their own way for better or for worse and hope they spark people's interest. The new album “The Horse, The Rat and The Swan” is an ambitious maelstrom of tribal beats, scything guitars and lush keys held together in an uneasy marriage purely by ambitious vision. Snowman take “The Horse, The Rat and The Swan” on the road in Australia throughout July, and are thrilled to take fellow sonic terrorists Baseball with them as special guests. It will be Australia’s only chance to see Snowman as they relocate to the UK indefinitely in August

THE SKYBOMBERS & Calling All Cars Fri 18/7
Skybombers released their debut single “Always Complaining” and it was immediately added to JJJ radio in May. The song debuted #1 on the AIR singles chart and #23 on the ARIA physical sales chart. More airplay has followed on the NOVA network as well as an ATB add on MMM Melbourne. A US Tour with legendary LA punk rockers X and shows with the Foo Fighters in May were thrown in for good measure. Their debut album was released in early June to rave reviews. “Take Me To Town” (recorded in LA with producer Rick Parker – BRMC, Dandy Warhols, Von Bondies) perfectly captures what the Skybombers are all about – being young and having a good time in the city! It’s twelve songs of high energy, carefree rock and roll that borrows as much from the sixties garage bands as it does point to the future. It’s fast, it’s fun, it’s feverish – it’s the way rock’n’roll is supposed to be. Skybombers hit the road in Australia in July with special guests Calling All Cars before theyreturn to the US and Japan in August/September.

ROCKET SCIENCE & Special Guests Sat 23/8
Rocket Science return with a brand new album “Different Like You”. Over three albums the band has created some of the most exciting sounds in Australian music with a live show that lesser bands would die for and a swag of killer tunes that have made a firm indent on the public psyche. After the release of the third album “Eternal Holiday”, the band had to battle a number of setbacks including Roman’s coma and Paul’s broken leg, but the members of Rocket Science (rounded out by the relatively injury free Kit and Dave) pulled together and without even a record label to call home, self produced an amazing riposte to those who thought the band may be finished!
